deafZINE
9. deafZINE

‘deafZINE’ is now both a blog and a newsletter, and continues to flourish (to replace ’deaf-leicester’). We are currently seeking funding to enable us continue with the deafZINE newsletter, so the community would not have to pay for it. The deafZINE website is currently in an experimental stage, using a BSL clip via YouTube. Check it out and let us know what you think! deafZINE aims report on local deaf-related issues and information that can be accessed by BOTH hearing and deaf communities. According to statistics, one in seven is deaf, deafened, or hard of hearing. We hope people who have come across this website or newsletter, will also pass it onto their relations, friends, or colleagues that might falls in the deafness category.
