13. Disability Cultural Projects (DCP)
Disability Cultural Projects (DCP) Community Interest Company was established in 2008 by Geof Armstrong and Silvie Fisch.
The aim of the organisation is to further the cultural equality of Deaf and Disabled people / Deaf, Disability arts practice in the UK and internationally, and to evolve new approaches to the way these are delivered.
Geof and Silvie used to work for the National Disability Arts Forum (NDAF), a national charity that had been in existence for 17 years and was closed down in February 2008.
DCP continues some of NDAF's work, such as the free weekly newsletter EtCetera and Arts Access UK, a national online Access database.
