4. Beckenham Shopmobility

Beckenham Shopmobility is a scheme funded by the Big Lottery Fund, which lends manual wheelchairs and electric scooters to members of the public with limited mobility to enable them to shop and use the leisure and other facilities of the town centre.

5. Birkenhead Shopmobility

A membership scheme is in operation. With this you pay an annual fee then a reduced fee each time you use a piece of equipment. Casual users are welcome and are charged for each visit.

6. Daventry Shopmobility

Shopmobility is based at New Street Daventry. Anyone who has walking difficuties can use DACT's Scooters and Wheelchairs.
Shopmobility also has on sale a variety of Disability Aids ranging from walking sticks to wheelchairs.

Chesterfield and District Shopmobility is a charity that loans scooters‚ wheelchairs and mobility aids to it's members for a small fee. Membership is free and lasts a life time, it is available to anyone who needs the use of our equipment.
Our varied fleet of mobility aids will suit the needs of most people‚ young or not so young‚ small or not so small. They can be used safely and effectively in all the areas we cover. We have manual wheelchairs‚ powered chairs and three or four wheeled scooters for people young and old who have mobility problems‚ be it permanent or temporary. Some of our equipment is adapted for single handed use and can be adjusted for either the right or left hand as needed.
