Attitude is Everything improves Deaf and disabled people's access to live music by working in partnership with audiences, artists and the music industry to implement a Charter of Best Practice across the UK.
Attitude is Everything was set up in response to disabled people's complaints of unfair treatment at music venues, clubs and festivals. Artsline realised that the music industry was not aware of their obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act and the project was set up to work positively with the industry to raise awareness and was launched in September 2000

3. Raquel Marie Mason

Ambitious disabled actress and model Raquel Marie Mason landed her first television role in the BBC1 hit comedy series “All about me” in 2003. Since then the young disabled actress decided to set up a website to showcase her talent!
Whilst training, Raquel appeared in productions including Animal farm and Cinderella where she played no other than Cinders herself in the panto 2004 and Hotel Pardeiso.
Since then Raquel has helped front a campaign for SCOPE. When she’s not busy chasing her acting goals Raquel likes to write and choreograph her own material including songs, Wheelchair choreography and poetry.

4. VisABLE

VisABLE is the UK's first professional agency representing only actors and models with disabilities.
The original idea of placing disabled models in advertising campaigns for everyday products was started off in 1993 by Louise Dyson, founder of the well respected Louise Dyson Agency.

5. Heavy Load

Heavyload are Brighton's answer to The Ramones. A punk outfit subject to the combustible flux of ego, ambition, fantasy, expectation and desire that fuels any emerging band. But they’re also uniquely, made up of musicians with and without learning disabilities.
Over the last 10 years they have managed to survive through their combination of raucous energy, attitude and sheer volume but now they are about to hit the big time with a feature length documentary (Heavy Load)being made about their journey from social care to stardom, and back again, and their mission to demonstrate that disability rocks. There are few genres left in music that have yet to be defined. Heavyload have unwittingly created a brand new one.
