| We are The Healthcare Charity for Deaf People, working to bring equality to health and healthcare for deaf people. We work with the healthcare providers, NHS etc. to improve access and services for deaf people; we also provide services such as supported living, advocacy, outreach and counselling and health promotion for BSL users. SignHealth also works to improve access to better communication in the care pathway for deaf people through SignTranslate - a web-based portal providing on-line interpreting, subtitles, pictures and BSL clips. |
