Churches for All |
| Churches are often missing out on a vital piece of the puzzle - a large piece: in Britain there are 9.5* million adults who have a recognised disability - over one fifth of the adult population. A further 700,000* children have one or more disabilities.
Actually, 95% of us will experience disability at some time during our life. One day you may well enter your church as a disabled person.
Likening the church to the human body Paul, the apostle, wrote: “those parts that seem to be weaker are indispensable.” - the Church is losing out when it fails to include those parts. |
