West Somerset Disability Association |
| The West Somerset Disability Association supports all disabled people, whether visually and hearing impaired, physically limited or with any other type of disability, together with their carers, friends and families. We meet on the last Monday of each month at the Seahorse Centre, Minehead. Everyone is most warmly welcome!
We are involved in many types of leisure activity including outings. This involves providing appropriate transport - scooters and buggies where possible. We also teach computer skills on our own computers, which have been specially adaptated with screen (speech) readers, screen magnification, voice recognition software and a Braille embosser; this enables members to access the Internet, e-mail, bank accounts, online shopping and many other possibilities. |
