| Epsom & Ewell Access Group

| The aim of the group is to promote ‘access for all’ throughout the borough. This includes wheelchair users and people with physical and/or sensory disabilities. We believe good access stems from forward planning, increased awareness and plain good sense. With this in mind, we having a rolling programme of Access Audits and keep in touch with local shopkeepers and service providers, advising on their legal responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act. Our latest project was the formation of a Website listing accessible venues and information for disabled people living in and visiting the Borough of Epsom & Ewell. We hope this information is helpful and welcome your comments on accessibility of venues contained within this guide and also those not yet listed. We also hope to publish an Access Guide in booklet form in the near future. |
